A Single Mommy In Love

“The sweetest thing any of my ex-boyfriends ever did for me was break-up with me”

Sometimes the events in your life seem so devastating, but later on, after a few days go by, then a few months, and finally a few years, you realize those events were the best thing that could have ever happened to you. I believe everything happens for a reason, even if it seems like the end of the world when it happens, later on you wind up appreciating it.

“Married men make the best boyfriends”

Where to start with married men, well, the best thing I can say about having a married man as your boyfriend is at the
end of the day, it is his wife who has to deal with all his crap instead of you. I’ve found that a married man can be a very good lover. I don’t know how or why, but they seem more passionate than a single guy who is just out playing the field. Having relationships with married men definitely do have their ups and downs but they are not highly recommended.

“The best love affairs I’ve ever had, never really happened”

I remember all the childhood crushes I had as a teenager. I was so in love with New Kids On The Block. My favorite was Donnie, no it was Joey, wait a minute, it was Jordan, dang it, it was Jon, shoot, but I really love Danny too. Okay, okay, if there had been two more New Kids then I could have just had a different favorite every day of the week. The dilemma of a teenage girl, right? But when I look back, I think about all the dreams I had, just wishing that when I got old enough that one of those guys would magically appear in my life and fall in love with me. Daydreaming all day and night about what things could be like, you know, the wedding, the kids, and well, the loving.

“You can’t change how you feel, so the best thing to do with it is just deal”

Sometimes the person you fall in love with isn’t someone that you probably should fall in love with. I always seem to fall in love with the jerks, dorks, and losers. But why fight what you feel, you can’t change it. You feel what you feel so the best thing to do is just deal with it. Whether the love is wrong or right is for you to decide. No one can judge you. What is right for one person may be wrong for another.
